What Is The Meaning Or Definition Of Bicurious / Bicuriousity: The term “bicurious” is derived from “bi,” which means “two,” and “curious,” which means “having curiosity,” hence, “bi-curious” literally means “having sexual curiosity towards both sex or genders.” The term “bicurious” or “bicuriousity” is used to describe people who are open to experimenting with people of the same gender, as well as people of other genders, but are not sure if they would be open to forming any kind of romantic or sexual relationship with those multiple genders. In other words, bicurious are actively questioning or exploring their bisexuality, which generally includes curiosity about one’s romantic or sexual attraction or behavior to people of the same or different genders. Bicurious also describes a broader continuum of sexual orientation between heterosexuality and bisexuality, and such a continuum may include mostly-heterosexual or mostly-homosexual, but these can be self-identified without identifying as bisexual. Bi-curious invokes the idea that there are people who have either none or limited homosexual experience in the case of heterosexual individuals, or none or limited heterosexual experience in the case of homosexual individuals, but they may choose to self-identify as bi-curious if they do not feel that they have satisfactorily explored these feelings, or if they do not wish to identify as bisexual. Bicurious also sometimes include heteroflexible and homoflexible because they have a wish to experiment with sexuality with that of the opposite gender. Bi-curious is a phenomenon in which people of a heterosexual or homosexual identity show some level of curiosity and wish to experiment with a relationship or sexual activity with a person of the opposite sex, or suspect they may be bisexual, however, do not classify themself as bisexual as yet. A bicurious person engages in heterosexual activities or has primarily heterosexual interests, but is also curious about experiencing sexual activities with the same sex. A bicurious individual can be heterocurious, in which case they are heterosexuals with none or minimal homosexual experience, or they can be homocurious, in which case they have none or minimum heterosexual experience. Bicurious people, however, like to be categorized as bicurious because they have not yet adequately explored those feelings to be sure of their sexual presences, and hence, do not wish to be identified as bisexual. A bicurious has thoughts, visions, ideas, dreams, or fantasies of engaging in same-sex activity, but has not yet acted on those feelings, they just have a desire or wish to explore an intimate relationship with the same sex. Some people like to call a bicurious person a closet bisexual, one who won't admit it.
